The Modula pallet automated storage system has been designed to store Euro Pallets measuring 1200×800 mm , with the option of using standard trays for loose material.
The loading bay measures incoming pallets, assessing them by weight and height. Based on these values, Modula Pallet will identify the most suitable position available in the storage system.
The Modula automated pallet warehouse is equipped with an automated loading bay designed for use with:
- manual pallet truck
- electric pallet truck.

Goods can be conveniently accessed from the side windows of the loading bay, without having to fully remove the pallet from the machine.
Mixed storage
The Modula Pallet automated warehouse isn’t just for pallets. It can also store loose or packaged products or boxes.
We devised Modula Pallet with mixed management in mind: some of the trays are suitable for storing pallets, while others use lift technology for storing different items. In this case, there will be a specific pallet bay for pallet management, and an additional opposite bay for standard picking.
Technological integration
Modula Pallet is a smart, modular technology. Our Modula WMS software allows it to integrate with other Automated pallet handling technologies such as:
- AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots)
- AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles)
- Roller conveyors
This means that the entire process can be fully automated without having to use additional automated pallet manipulation systems. Modula’s warehouse logistics solution streamlines your pallet handling process: any other technologies need only be integrated downstream.
Unlike other industrial pallet storage solutions, our technology offers the flexibility of a modular approach: you can purchase one module at a time and add others later, as needed.
What’s more, you can combine several Modula Pallet automated warehouses and install a loading bay on just one of them. Loads can then be moved between the different warehouses using the internal shuttle. Items can be dropped off and retrieved from a single point and stored across several units, for game-changing optimal pallet management.
